Renthal's Team Issue Fatbar runs braceless, so the 1-1/8" tube flexes where a crossbar setup stays stiff. That flex takes the edge off vibration and arm pump over a long moto. The clamping section needs oversized 28.6mm mounts; a 7/8" bike wants an adapter to run them. Knurling at the clutch end keeps the grip from spinning under sweat and mud. The bars are shot-peened to push out fatigue life on hard enduro and MX use. Bin them at the first sign of a bend or stress whitening rather than waiting for the snap.
