What it is

The 997 sits in the taller half of the Twinwall range, a bend favoured by riders who want the bar up and the cockpit opened out. The dual-tube build runs a 7/8" inner inside a 1-1/8" outer wall, bonded at the clamp area, so the bar takes a heavy hit without taking a set. It mounts on 28.6mm fat-bar clamps, not standard 7/8" perches, so plan for oversized clamps if you are coming off stock bars. Purple anodised with a matching pad. Seat your controls clean before final torque.
