Renthal's vintage cloth pad covers the exposed crossbrace on older braced bars, the bit you hit if the front end stops and you don't. The SX-style cloth keeps a classic build looking correct where a modern pad would jar. Foam compresses and cloth perishes with age, UV and trail muck, so a flat, faded pad has stopped doing much. It suits the standard crossbrace fitment found across MX and enduro bikes of that period. The hook-and-loop strap means no tools. Wrap it over the brace, pull it square, and check it's snug before you drop in.
