This pad wraps the centre crossbrace of an older handlebar and cushions the bar against your body in a crash or a hard landing. The cloth shell is what sets it apart from a stock plastic pad, giving a vintage build or a concours restoration the correct era finish. It hooks around any standard 22.2mm crossbrace bend and fastens with hook-and-loop. Foam perishes and fabric fades with age and sun, so it's a consumable on a bike that gets ridden. Fit it last, sit it square on the brace and you're set.
