Replace a failing starter with this complete OEM-spec unit. It is a direct bolt-on fitment for bikes using the 55140001000 or 55140001100 part numbers. Internal failure often occurs due to water ingress or brush wear in the lower end. This motor provides the high torque required for cold starts and quick restarts on the trail. Inspect the mounting gasket and the starter bendix for wear during installation. It is a reliable solution for restoring the electric start system on your bike.
