This part replaces OEM numbers 31100-MEB-671, 31120-KRN-670, and 31120-MEN-731. It is located inside the ignition cover and generates the current for the ignition and charging circuits. High engine temperatures can cause the windings to short out. If your bike loses spark or fails to charge, this unit is likely at fault. It is designed for a direct fit within the engine casing. Ensure the flywheel is clean before reassembly. It is a technical replacement for worn factory components.
