What it is

The SCAR ALUMINUM CLUTCH CABLE GUIDE BLUE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Holds the clutch cable against the engine or frame, away from moving parts and the exhaust. Without it the cable bows out as you pull the lever and the action goes vague. Machined from aluminium, so it stays put where a moulded plastic guide flexes or melts near the header. Fits the Kawasaki KX 450 F. Run the cable through cleanly, set the mounting bolt to spec, and recheck it at your service intervals. A small part, but a snagged or melted guide ends races. Blue anodised finish.
