What it is
The SCAR THROTTLE TUBE+BEARING, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
The mini version of Scar's aluminium throttle tube, sized for the 50 and 65 race bikes. On a kids' bike the stock plastic tube is the first thing to crack in a tip-over; aluminium and the bar-end bearing fix that and keep the snap-back crisp. The knurled surface locks the grip glue in place. It slots inside the housing and drops in for the OEM part on the SX 50, SX 65, TC 50 and TC 65. Wipe the bar clean of old adhesive, fit it, then check the cable moves freely across full steering lock.
