What it is
The SCAR THROTTLE TUBE + BEARING CRF250, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
The same SCAR billet upgrade, cut for the CRF250 throttle housing and shared across the CRF 250 R, RX and X plus the 450 R, RX, X and L. Aluminium where Honda fits plastic, so a heavy lay-down at the bar end no longer cracks the tube. A bearing rides under it to kill friction, giving a consistent return whatever the cable condition. The knurled barrel holds grip glue tight. Drops into the stock housing as a direct replacement. Degrease the old adhesive off, fit the bearing dry, and confirm free throttle travel through full steering lock.
