What it is

The SCAR THROTTLE TUBE+BEARING, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Same Scar aluminium tube, cut for the small-bore and 85cc race bikes. Plastic tubes give up under impact; this one shrugs it off and the bearing at the bar end keeps the return fast and consistent. Knurling along the body grips your bonding adhesive. It sits inside the housing and replaces the OEM tube straight on the MC, SX, TC, TE and TX models listed. Clean the bar back to bare metal and clear off old glue first. Spin the assembly through full lock to confirm the cable pulls free before the gate drops.
