What it is

Pop the cap, slide the damper rod out, and check the shaft diameter before you order anything. This packing is sized for the 12.5mm rod, so if yours mics up at 12.0mm you want the blue sibling instead. Wrong size and you'll either fight it onto the shaft or get a sloppy seal that pisses oil past the first stand-up jump. Fits the Showa cartridge internals on a handful of mid-2000s 250F and 450 platforms across Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Replace it every fork service while the legs are apart. Cheap insurance against a blown rebuild.
