If you notice the revs rising without a corresponding increase in speed, your current plates are likely glazed or worn beyond service limits. Always soak new plates in fresh gearbox oil for at least four hours before installation to prevent burning on the first start. Check your steel plates for bluing or warping while the cases are open. This kit provides a direct replacement for your specific bike.
