What it is
The TRW CLUTCH SPRING KIT, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
These springs sit inside the clutch pressure plate to provide the clamping force required for drive. They are stiffer than standard to prevent clutch slip under heavy load or high heat. Replace your springs whenever you install new friction plates or if the lever feel becomes soft. Heat cycles eventually fatigue the metal, leading to reduced tension. This kit is a direct fit for the OEM basket and hub. Ensure you tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern to avoid warping the pressure plate.
