What it is
The TWIN AIR FUEL TANK FILTER, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
A drop-in mesh filter for the tank filler neck. It strains dirt and grit out of fuel as you pour, before any of it reaches the bottom of the tank. On the EFI four-strokes it covers, the KX 250 F and KX 450 F, that matters: high-pressure injectors choke on the fine silt that creeps in during paddock fills. The filter stays in place during riding and flows enough that it won't slow a pit stop. Lift it out every few rides, shake off what it has caught, drop it back in. Cheap insurance against a pump or injector failure.
