§ 02 / About this part
What it is
Twin Air fuel tank filter, part number 07070035.
A Twin Air filter that drops into the filler neck and works the moment fuel hits it. Built for EFI bikes, where sand or silt past the mesh chews the high-pressure pump and clogs injectors. The screen flows quick enough to keep can fills fast while it traps the grit. Seats under the cap and lifts straight out for cleaning. If you race cross-country or desert and fill from cans in the open, this is the bit that stops half a paddock ending up in your tank. Pull it, rinse it, refit it.
