Twin Air's tank-neck filter drops into the fuel opening and strains grit out as you pour. On a fuel-injected YZ 250 F or 450 F, a single pinch of silt past the cap can scratch a pump or block an injector, and the fix is an engine-out job you don't want. The mesh is sized for high flow, so quick fills in the pits aren't slowed. No tank mods needed. Lift it out between rounds, shake off the trapped debris, drop it back in. Cheap insurance for the part of the bike riders forget.
