What it is

A machined aluminium oil filter cap to replace the cast factory part on the RM-Z 250 and RM-Z 450. It seals the filter cavity in the engine casing. Fins on the outer face add surface area and shed heat from the oil. Billet stock takes the impact and over-torque that the soft stock casting cannot, so it rarely cracks at the threads. Swap the rubber O-ring over before you fit it, or run a new one. Torque to spec, refill, done. Slots into the routine oil service on the Suzuki.
