What it is

The VERTEX ENGINE BOTTOM END HONDA REBUILD KIT, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

When the big end develops play or the mains start to rumble, a top end won't save a CR 250 R. The crank has to come out. This Vertex kit covers the whole job: crankshaft, main bearings, and the full seal and gasket set the rebuild needs once the cases are split. On a two-stroke, fresh crank seals matter as much as the bearings. A leaking seal draws air, leans the mixture and takes out the new top end with it.
