The VERTEX ENGINE BOTTOM END KAWASAKI REBUILD KIT, engine. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

The KX 100 gets thrashed harder than most bikes twice its size, and the small two-stroke crank pays for it. This kit is the whole bottom end: assembled crankshaft, main bearings and the full gasket set for the case-split and rebuild. Rod side-to-side play is normal; vertical play at the big end is not, and that's your cue. One part number replaces a shopping list of seals, bearings and gaskets, all held to OEM tolerances.
