Wiseco forging for Honda's big air-cooled single, covering the XR 650 L, NX 650 and SLR 650. These engines rack up serious mileage, and the forged blank shrugs off heat and detonation far better than the cast original when the thumper is worked hard. Kit includes piston, rings, wrist pin and circlips. Measure the bore first; a scored or worn liner needs machining before a new piston goes in. Gap the rings to Wiseco's spec, not the as-shipped gap.
