Wiseco's forged option for the 450F class: YZ 450 F, WR 450 F and the Gas Gas EC 450 F. A modern 450 four-stroke runs high compression and short piston life by design, so this is scheduled maintenance, not a distress purchase. The forged crown resists detonation damage when the engine runs lean and hot. Piston, rings, wrist pin and circlips included. Verify bore size and plating condition first, set the end gap, and log the hours so the next one goes in on time.
