Forged pistons offer increased resistance to detonation compared to cast alternatives. Replace this kit at the hour mark specified in your service manual to prevent fatigue. The package includes the piston, rings, gudgeon pin, and circlips. Ensure you check the ring end gap within the cylinder before installation. Adhere to a strict break-in schedule to ensure the rings seat correctly against the cylinder wall for a long-lasting seal.
