Over time, heat and friction reduce tension, leading to blow-by and power loss. Always check your ring end gap in the bore before final assembly. These are specific to the piston bore size and stroke of your engine. Replace them during every top-end refresh to prevent cylinder glazing and ensure peak performance on the track.
