This kit replaces the piston, rings, and gudgeon pin to restore the engine to factory specifications. It is a critical service item for race-tuned bikes to prevent conrod and valve damage. Check your valve clearances while the head is removed for this install. This .96 sizing is for standard bore tolerances. Ensure the piston rings are oriented correctly to prevent oil blow-by during your rebuild.
