This forged performance component sits at the heart of your top-end rebuild. It converts combustion energy into mechanical drive. Over time, heat cycles wear the skirt and ring grooves. This +0.25mm oversize fitment requires the cylinder to be bored and replated to match the new diameter. Always check your bore diameter with a micrometer before selection. Ensure the ring gaps are clocked correctly during assembly. Lubricate the wrist pin and small-end bearing thoroughly before sliding the cylinder over the rings.
