Leisure Lakes near Mere Brow on the West Lancashire coast is sand-based hardpack. Drier and faster than the inland Cumbria venues, exposed to coastal weather. Manchester Northern rotate their calendar through here alongside Cumbria Moto Park.
Coastal sand-hardpack is hard on chains and engine internals; air filters and chain stock are the regular order.
