The DT 50 M is an old air-cooled tiddler built for green-laning and learner duties. Two failure points dominate. The intake boot perishes and leaks, leaning the mixture and cooking the top end. Clutch plates glaze fast if you slip it through woods. Plan top-end refreshes on a schedule, not when it nips up. Keep the boot fresh and the clutch pack honest and it'll keep running.
