Sprockets

Worn sprockets chew chains and bleed power. Swap them when the teeth hook, thin, or shark-fin. Steel lasts. Alloy drops unsprung weight but wears faster. Drop a tooth on the front or add teeth on the rear for tighter woods response. Go the other way for top-end on fast tracks. Match the bolt pattern to your hub — pitch and PCD have to line up, no fudging it. Filter by make, model and tooth count to pull the right set for your drivetrain.
