Trials Tyres

Trials tyres claw grip out of nothing. Ultra-soft compound and a flexible carcass let the tread mould round rocks, roots and wet logs instead of skating off them. Drop pressures right down — single digits on the rear is normal — to spread the footprint and find drive. Fit rim locks. Without them the tyre spins on the rim at low pressure and rips the valve clean off. Expect quick wear on tarmac and transit sections. Check swingarm and mudguard clearance before you commit.
