This internal component sits inside the muffler body to support the packing and manage exhaust flow. It is a critical part of the silencer assembly that can suffer from heat fatigue or corrosion over time. Replacing the inner sleeve restores the structural integrity of the exhaust. It ensures the packing material stays in the correct position for optimal sound damping. You will need to strip the silencer and remove the end cap for installation. It is a direct replacement for the original stainless steel unit.
