Pull the old seal out and you'll usually find the slider scored, oil weeping past the dust wiper, and a fork leg that's been sulking for half a season. This Athena RSD oil seal pops straight into the 48mm cartridge forks on the CRF 450R, the KTM Duke 690 and 690 R, the Enduro 690, plus the Beta and Husaberg singles running the same leg diameter. It's a 48 x 57.8 x 9 spec, so it sits flush against the bushing without any persuasion from a punch. The double-lip profile keeps fork oil where it belongs and stops grit from chewing the sealing surface on the next big landing. Fit it with a proper seal driver, clean the slider with brake cleaner first, and torque the fork cap to spec once you've bled the air out. Pair it with a fresh dust seal and 5wt oil and the front end will feel honest again by the second lap.
