What it is

The ATHENA INTAKE GASKET SX125 OUTER, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This part seals the outer face of the reed block to the intake boot. It sits between the carburettor or throttle body and the engine. You will need this when inspecting the reeds or during a top-end rebuild. Air leaks at the intake can cause your SX125 to run lean, leading to poor throttle response or engine failure. This part is a direct OEM cross-reference. Ensure the surfaces are dry and free of oil before installation. Tighten the intake bolts evenly to prevent warping the reed cage.
