What it is

A seat cover earns its keep when the throttle is pinned and you are trying not to slide off the back. The Double Grip 3 puts a raised, high-friction pattern on the top face and firmer panels down the sides for knee grip. This yellow/black cover is cut for the Suzuki RM 125 and RM 250 two-strokes, so it follows the seat base without bunching. Fitting is the usual staple job: strip the old cover, check the foam, stretch and staple from the centre out. Good tension is what stops it creeping under load.
