What it is
The BLACKBIRD RACING SEAT FOAM +15 MM HEIGHT, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
This Blackbird foam adds 15mm of seat height over standard, giving taller KTM riders a longer leg and an easier move to standing. Expanded polyurethane holds its density and shrugs off water, where worn stock foam packs down and gets heavy. It sits on your existing seat base, so plan on a tall cover to take up the extra volume. Cut to match the EXC and SX two-stroke and SX-F four-stroke subframe and tank profile, so it follows the bike's lines rather than bulging. Fitting is straightforward once the old foam and staples are off.
