What it is
The BLACKBIRD RACING SEAT FOAM RMZ +15MM, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Adds 15mm to the stock RM-Z seat height. If you're tall, the standard Suzuki saddle folds your knees too tight and slows the sit-to-stand transition. This foam drops straight onto the original RM-Z 250 or 450 seat pan. Closed-cell, so it won't soak up water and gain weight through a wet British season. It's also firmer than tired stock foam, which most high-hour bikes are running without realising. Budget for a taller or stretch-fit cover at the same time; the standard one won't reach round the extra volume.
