This ignition cover sits on the left side of the engine, protecting the stator and flywheel assembly. Cast aluminium construction provides better heat dissipation and impact resistance than plastic or thin-walled OEM units. It is designed to withstand heavy boot wear and debris strikes common in MX and enduro. The precision-machined mating surface ensures a tight seal to keep moisture and dirt out of the ignition circuit. Check your existing gasket condition or replace it during the swap. This part is a direct replacement for worn or cracked factory covers on older two-stroke builds.
