What it is

The BOYESEN IGNITION COVER FACTORY RACING ALUMINUM REPLACEMENT MAGNESIUM, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This replacement provides increased durability over the standard magnesium part. It sits on the left side of the engine, protecting the stator and flywheel from impact. The cast aluminium construction offers better heat dissipation and resists cracking from rock strikes or boot rub. It uses the original gasket and mounting hardware for a direct swap. This is a practical upgrade for enduro or hard enduro where the bike frequently encounters technical terrain. The internal clearances match the OEM profile to ensure no interference with moving parts.
