What it is

The BOYESEN POWERVALVE COV CR250, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This component seals the powervalve linkage on the side of your cylinder. It replaces the stock plastic or thin metal cover on your CR250. The aluminum construction prevents warping caused by the extreme heat of the exhaust port. A secure seal is vital to keep debris out of the linkage mechanism. If your current cover is leaking oil or letting in dirt, your powervalve may stick. This part ensures smooth operation of the exhaust timing. Clean the mounting face thoroughly before installation to maintain a vacuum-tight seal.
