What it is

The BOYESEN RAD VALVE CARBON FIBER, top end. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This assembly replaces the restrictive factory reed cage with a high-flow design. The internal surfaces are shaped to reduce turbulence and increase air velocity. Carbon fibre petals offer superior memory and response compared to fiberglass. It mounts directly to the intake tract of your bike. This is a primary upgrade for competitive MX or hard enduro use. Replacing the entire block ensures a perfect seal against the crankcase. Inspect the reed petals for wear as part of your seasonal maintenance to prevent loss of primary compression.
