These components sit within your intake cage to regulate fuel-air flow into the cylinder. Carbon construction offers quicker snap and response compared to standard glass-fibre units. Inspect these whenever the carb is off for cleaning. Frayed or chipped edges cause poor idling and a muddy bottom-end. They are a direct replacement for your existing setup. Ensure the reed block surfaces are perfectly clean before installation. Use a drop of thread lock on the retaining screws to prevent them backing out into the engine.
