Fork lug protectors take the hits the lowers can't shrug off. They wrap the base of the fork legs, the point closest to the ground and first in line for rocks, ruts and flung trail debris. A gouged lug fouls axle clamps and bottom-out adjusters. These pads soak the abuse instead. Fit follows the lug profile and goes on with hand tools. Sensible kit for hard enduro and rocky terrain. Swap them out once the surface shows deep scoring and the protection is spent.
