What it is

Cycra moulds these in their own glass-filled plastic, which is stiffer than the OEM Honda guard and shrugs off rock strikes that would crack a thinner shell. They clamp around the lower slider on the CR125/250R and CRF250R/450R/450RX forks, covering the chrome from foot-peg height down. Stone chips on the stanchion below the seal kill fork oil fast on a hard-enduro lap. Bolt-on with the supplied hardware; uses the factory clamp points, no drilling. Pull them at every top-end service and check for cracks at the clamp tabs. Swap when the surface goes chalky or the tab webs split.
