Cycra moulds these to wrap the lower fork legs on the KX 250/250F/250X and KX 450/450F/450X, so the plastic takes the hit instead of your stanchion. One stone chip on the chrome and the seal will weep within a few sessions. They bolt to the factory mount points on the lower lugs, no drilling, no shimming. After fitting, cycle the forks through full travel and check the front brake line has clearance through the bracket. Swap them out once the leading edge goes soft or starts splintering at the bolt holes.
