Bolts to the lower fork legs and shields the stanchions from roost, stones, and trail debris on YZ 125, YZ 250, YZ 250F, YZ 450F, and the X/FX cross-country variants. The wrap-around shape covers more of the slider than the OEM offering, which matters on rocky enduro loops where a chipped stanchion kills a seal within a couple of rides. Uses the factory fork-lug mounting points, no drilling. Two-piece clamp design makes swap-outs fast during a fork-oil service. Replace once the leading edge is gouged through or the plastic goes brittle from UV.
