What it is

Mounts to the airbox and hangs behind the rear shock, the first thing the rear tyre throws roost at. That spray is what kills shock seals and packs grit into the linkage. A flap that has split or gone brittle stops doing its job and lets the abrasive stuff through. This one fits the factory holes on the CRF 250 R and CRF 450 R, so it goes straight on with no trimming. Black hides the mud and the scuffs. Worth fitting before a wet winter of hare-and-hounds rather than after the shock has started weeping.
