This mud flap attaches to the rear of the airbox to shield the shock absorber and linkage from direct roost. Constant exposure to grit and high-pressure washing causes the plastic to become brittle and eventually snap. Replacing a damaged flap is a simple way to extend the life of your shock seals and bearings by keeping the lower end of the bike cleaner. It is a direct fit for the Kawasaki subframe using original hardware. Check the gap between the flap and the tyre after fitting.
