What it is

Bolts to the rear of the airbox on the KX 250 F and KX 450 F to block the roost aimed at the shock and linkage. Less mud reaching the lower end means cleaner seals and bearings and longer service intervals on the rear shock. A direct fit to the Kawasaki subframe on the original hardware. The plastic is the first thing to go, turning brittle and snapping at the bolt holes after repeated washing, so replace it before the cracks spread. Confirm the gap to the tyre after fitting.
