What it is

The CYCRA MUD FLAP KAWASAKI KXF 250/450 GREEN, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A small flap that earns its keep. It bolts to the underside of the airbox on the KX 250 F and KX 450 F and blocks the rooster tail of mud and stone off the rear tyre before it reaches the shock and linkage. Grit in the linkage bearings is what kills them early, so this part directly extends suspension service life. Direct OEM-pattern replacement. Clean the mounting surface before you fit it, and pinch-test the flap for cracks every time the airbox is off.
