Hangs off the airbox to take the roost thrown straight up at the rear shock and linkage on the YZ 250 F and YZ 450 F. The lower end stays cleaner, so the shock shaft and seals see less grit and last longer between services. Mounts to the original airbox points, so fitting is a few minutes with the seat off. The flap is what fatigues first under constant jet washing, cracking at the bolt holes, so treat it as a service part. Check it clears the rear tyre before you ride.
