What it is

These louvers mount in front of the radiator cores and eat the roost before it reaches the fins. On a KX a flattened fin row chokes airflow and the coolant temp climbs, usually mid-moto when you can least afford it. The plastic takes the rock strike, then bolts back up with the original hardware once it's been hit hard enough to crack. Shaped for the KX250 and KX450 chassis so the fit is flush against the shrouds. Rinse the mud out after every ride. Packed louvers trap heat as surely as a bent core.
