It comes out of the bag with the correct amount of oil already applied. This saves time in the workshop and ensures consistent coverage. The bonded layers prevent dirt from reaching the intake even under heavy load. Check the seal against the airbox every time you fit it. Replace the filter if the foam begins to perish or lose its shape after multiple washes.
